This is my first and definitely not my last tattoo.
Meaning: this one is for my mom (who got the same thing on her shoulder). It’s her favorite flower and the state flower. It symbolizes California as well as my mom being my home. The lady bug is a thing between my mom and I when I was little, I was her ladybug. The main flower with the lady bug on it is my mom, I’m the one on the left, and (I don’t think I’ve ever told anyone this part but) the closed one is for my big brother. My mom had a miscarriage years before I came around and she wanted to make it a family tattoo and include him too. I absolutely love it and couldn’t have asked for more. Hmmmm… So let me get this straight…
You’re at least 18+ years of age… and before you were born your mother miscarried… I don’t think that counts as a sibling. That’s like considering all of my menstrual cycles as potential children, and that isn’t how life works.
